Role overview:

Are you passionate about building robust, scalable systems and pushing the boundaries of what's possible with TypeScript? Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer and play a pivotal role in creating innovative platforms, APIs, and front-end solutions that power our core applications!

What you’ll be doing:

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance frameworks for APIs and middleware, integrating backend services while enhancing overall system capabilities. Additionally, you'll contribute to front-end development, ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences across various features. Together we will design and develop authentication and authorization systems to guarantee both security and scalability within the system.

We drive critical improvements in system modularity, reliability, and performance, ensuring the platform operates securely and efficiently. As part of your responsibilities, you'll build and maintain core features like Login, Role Management, Data Providers, and Visualizations which are vital to supporting key infrastructure operations. Collaborating in multi-functional teams, you will play a crucial role in triaging and resolving bugs in integration and production environments, ensuring that everything runs smoothly across the board.

What we are looking for:

Work with Kubernetes APIs and GraphQL-Federation to build scalable, cloud-native applications, while driving innovation at the intersection of backend and frontend technologies. This role allows you to push boundaries and create flawless, integrated solutions across the entire tech stack.

Your Toolkit:

  • Shown experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, building complex web services and applications.
  • Deep understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, and No-SQL technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with GraphQL and NodeJS.
  • Comfortable in Kubernetes Application Development with working knowledge of CI/CD patterns.
  • Good command of Linux CLI for efficient development and debugging.
  • Bonus points if you have experience with any of the following technologies: Golang, ArgoCD, Angular or React.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
  • We expect 2 or more years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to contribute optimally in a complex environment.
  • A strong sense of accountability, ownership, and reliability.
  • Comfortable working in an agile development environment.
  • Interest for latest trends in Cloud Native Computing Foundation projects (CNCF).

Benefits:

Salary: Annual salary paid across 12 month (different to other parts of Germany) 

Bonus: Discretionary bonus, target level based on position level

Pension: Defined benefit provided by HDI - €35 per month after successfully passing the probation period
