Role overview:

The Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Division brings together a team from around the world, with a passion for engaging PlayStation gamers with relevant and entertaining content. This area of Sony Interactive Entertainment has seen significant growth in recent times, becoming a key revenue contributor and continuing to evolve in order to optimise the connection between creators and players. We are looking for individuals who are motivated by being part of a truly distributed team, working together at the forefront of digital content distribution.

With this in mind, we have built a Digital Game Monetization (DGM) Development Team within D2C which is responsible for providing the wider DGM team and our partners with strategies, tools and processes that enhance our monetisation capabilities, and maximise digital games sales and profitability.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the successful introduction of the D2C Commercial Team’s major initiatives and the associated change across both SIE internal teams and with our partners.
  • Manage a variety of cross-functional projects focused on enhancing the PlayStation Store experience through new platform features and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Play a prominent role in the management and delivery of a number of cross-functional steercos that are shaping future commercial strategies and evolving the store experience in areas such as live-services.
  • Furnish the DGM team and key partners with bespoke insights and analysis that fuel holistic content lifecycle commercial strategies across both full game and add-on.
  • Reimagine how the DGM team analyse the business and communicate commercial results and insights throughout the business.
  • Act as the DGM team’s SME on SIE’s suite of reporting tools and partner with internal teams, such as Strategic Analytics, to enable the DGM team to self-serve and acquire rich insights.

What we're looking for:

  • Substantial experience of digital retail and / or the digital entertainment industry, preferably with experience in “Live Service” games, within a PC & Console or Mobile games business.
  • Creative & energetic leader and teammate, who embraces change and exhibits a desire to continually improve.
  • Commercially focused with a proven track record of using data to curate and shape portfolio offerings that drive the business forwards.
  • Experience of building strong, influential and collaborative relationships within both internal and external teams.
  • Resourceful in finding solutions to business problems.
  • Ability to self-manage and balance multiple cross-functional projects and priorities.
  • As the role is global, a small amount of international travel may be required as well as a flexible approach to working hours and the ability to work as a part of an international team.
  • Basic SQL skills are desirable.
