We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer II (Front End) to join our PlayStation Search team in San Mateo, CA. This is a great opportunity to directly contribute in building exceptional search experiences in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain search experiences on PS5 console and mobile App.

Working with Server engineers, ML engineers, Product, Design, and QA teams to implement and test features.

Diagnosing and solving operational issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction of our services.

Learn, collaborate, and network alongside world-class engineers

Create clear documentation, diagrams and knowledge base articles
Qualifications
-
2+ years of proven design and programming experience in React Native or React application development, Javascript, Typescript

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodology

Familiarity with AI/ML and/or server side technologies is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
