As Director of Pricing and Packaging, you will lead a high-impact team that owns the full continuum of pricing strategy and execution. This includes partnering with our R&D organization on go-to-market planning, consulting with our Revenue organization on deal strategy, and collaborating with our Actuarial team on underwriting. This is a full time, hybrid position based in New York City (in office 2-3 days per week) reporting to the Director of Product, Data Products.
What you’ll do:
- Drive pricing and packaging strategy for new and existing products, designing scalable models that align with customer value and business goals.
- Lead a strategic team that partners cross-functionally with our Revenue organization on deal strategy and with R&D on go-to-market planning.
- Collaborate closely with our Actuarial team to set data-informed pricing assumptions, validate utilization and margin forecasts, and ensure risk is appropriately underwritten.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product Marketing to produce external-facing artifacts that reinforce our value proposition and support pricing.
- Conduct rigorous financial modeling and scenario planning to evaluate the revenue, margin, and utilization impact of pricing decisions across customer segments.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback, translating insights into actionable pricing strategies that drive growth and differentiation.
What success looks like:
- Pricing performance in-market: Pricing and packaging strategies drive improved win rates, average deal size, and margin.
- Actionable competitive intelligence: Regular pricing and packaging benchmarks are conducted, with insights translated into clear updates to our pricing roadmap.
- Sales enablement and adoption: Revenue organization is trained and enabled on new pricing and packaging at launch.
What you’ll bring:
- 7+ years of experience in pricing strategy, product monetization, or strategic finance, ideally within B2B SaaS or health tech.
- Demonstrated experience owning both pricing and packaging strategies, with a track record of driving measurable commercial outcomes.
- Strong financial acumen, with expertise in scenario modeling, margin analysis, and working closely with actuarial or underwriting teams.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership skills, with a track record of partnering effectively with Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing stakeholders.
- Clear, persuasive communicator, capable of translating complex pricing logic into compelling internal guidance and external value narratives.
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams, with the ability to inspire strategic thinking, operational excellence, and professional growth.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and evolving environments, with a bias toward action, curiosity, and continuous iteration.
The target base salary range for this position is $217,600-$272,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
