Strava is looking for a passionate individual to join our Developer Relations team and help us build the future of connected fitness. We are creating new ways to empower and entertain the global community of athletes by placing Strava at the center of our ecosystem - devices, digital fitness apps, connected equipment, and more. We are passionate about bringing new and meaningful experiences to athletes doing what they love.
As the Partnerships Lead, DevRel you will own Strava’s success globally through strategic partnerships and product integrations, leveraging APIs and innovative initiatives. You will lead complex, high-impact collaborations with our most strategic Tier 1 partners that drive business growth, enhance user experience, and advance our strategic goals.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to half your time on-site in our San Francisco office— three days per week.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy.
Cultivate deep, cross-functional relationships with key Tier 1 partners, influencing across diverse teams to drive outcomes.
Lead complex negotiations to establish dynamic, highly strategic, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
Act as a strategic advisor to our Tier 1 partners, proactively addressing developer-focused integration opportunities and challenges.
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify new opportunities and drive seamless implementation.
Synthesize and prioritize partner feedback to shape product initiatives that align with both partner needs and Strava’s business objectives.
Partner with Product Marketing to craft impactful go-to-market campaigns for new features or integration milestones.
Monitor and resolve issues with partner integrations, assessing and escalating as needed with clarity and precision.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
You have 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, developer relations, or a related field.
You have a proven track record of leading complex negotiations, driving strategic partnerships, and scaling impactful collaborations.
You have extensive experience with developer-focused partner API integrations, including familiarity with SDKs and developer tooling.
You have experience with partner API integrations and a demonstrated ability to discuss and navigate complex technical integrations with both internal and external stakeholders.
You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous settings, proactively identifying opportunities and challenges.
You excel at crafting and executing strategies while building consensus across diverse stakeholders.
You are highly organized, adept at managing intricate projects and aligning multiple teams.
You possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and collaboration across all levels.
Compensation Overview
At Strava, we know our employees are the most important ingredient to our success, and our compensation and total rewards programs reflect that. We take a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the department and your location. Salary ranges are categorized into one of three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. We will determine the candidate’s starting pay based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. We may modify these ranges in the future. This role is on the Strava Security Team, which exists to protect Strava’s people, business, and data through integrated, proactive security practices.
We work across all security domains, including, but not limited to, product security, vulnerability management, incident response, infrastructure, network, governance, and enterprise security.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to half your time on-site in either our San Francisco or Denver office— three days per week.
What You’ll Do:
Are passionate about safeguarding the sensitive data that powers a platform used by millions of athletes around the world
Thrive in cross-functional environments where you can shape data security and privacy architecture in partnership with Engineering, Legal, and Product teams
Will have a high-leverage impact by driving secure and privacy-respecting data design patterns at scale across diverse systems

You Will Be Successful Here By:
Being a trusted advisor to engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders on data security and privacy architecture
Leading the design and implementation of data classification, labeling, and protection frameworks across structured and unstructured sources
Guiding teams through secure-by-design decisions for new features, infrastructure changes, and data integrations
Establishing encryption, key management, and access control standards that are adaptable to diverse workloads and environments
Translating regulatory and business requirements into pragmatic, scalable technical designs that support velocity without compromising safety
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Bring deep experience guiding the secure and compliant use of data across engineering, analytics, and legal/privacy functions
Have designed and deployed metadata-driven classification systems and scalable protection controls across data pipelines, cloud storage, and SaaS tools
Understand how to architect and advise on encryption standards, key management, access controls, and data retention strategies in complex environments
Have worked with both off-the-shelf tools (e.g., BigID, OneTrust, AWS Macie) and in-house solutions to meet nuanced business and regulatory needs
Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and tradeoffs, balancing privacy, compliance, and usability through clear technical and architectural guidance
Communicate proactively and clearly across disciplines, driving alignment on shared principles and building durable frameworks for data trust

Senior Tax Analyst

What You’ll Do:
Tax Compliance (Global)
Support the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740
Assist with coordination and review of U.S. federal, state, and international corporate income tax filings
Coordinate VAT, GST, and sales/use tax registrations, filings, and audit responses in collaboration with local advisors.
Work with FP&A and RevOps to align system tax logic (e.g., Shopify, Adyen, Paddle, App Stores) and revenue recognition practices.
Drive automation and reconciliation processes (e.g., Avalara).
Treasury Operations
Assist with daily cash management, bank reconciliations, and liquidity forecasting.
Support monthly/quarterly close activities around cash, FX, and interest income.
Help implement and detail public-company-grade treasury policies and controls.
Short-Term Investment Management
Track performance, interest income, and risk exposures.
Assist in building reports for auditors and SEC filings (e.g., 10-Q/10-K cash disclosures).
Corporate Insurance & Risk Support
Support corporate insurance renewals and certificate of insurance requests.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
3-4 years of proven experience in tax compliance
Experience with indirect tax (VAT, sales tax)
ASC 740 experience
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
Ambitious and proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
