Strava for Business helps brands inspire and engage athletes through our unique advertising solutions such as sponsored challenges, sponsored segments and virtual races. As the Sales Operations Manager, you’ll be the engine that powers our sales team’s success — building the systems, processes, and insights that help us move fast, stay focused, and deliver impactful partnerships. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, love taking initiative to solve problems, and want to shape how a hyper-growth start-up team within Strava operates, this role is for you.
We’re looking for a proactive and adaptable Sales Operations Manager to join the Strava for Business team and support our growing Advertising Solutions business. This role is critical to enabling our sales team to operate efficiently, scale effectively, and deliver an outstanding experience for our brand and agency partners. You’ll own and optimize our HubSpot CRM processes, drive data accuracy and insights, and partner with sales leadership to streamline operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strava has a positive and supportive culture - we are looking for inquisitive, humble, hard working and collaborative teammates who are able to balance challenging revenue goals and partner value with Strava user value.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to half your time on-site in our London office — three days per week.
What You’ll Do:
- Own, manage, and optimise HubSpot CRM to support the full sales cycle — from lead generation to closed-won and renewal.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to enable data-driven decision-making across the sales team.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions, including automation and AI where necessary, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed-to-market.
- Partner with sales leadership to forecast revenue, set and report on quotas, track pipeline health, and identify performance trends.
- Support onboarding and training for sales team members on systems, tools, and processes.
- Work with agency partners to enhance our use of the CRM and supporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Product) to ensure alignment on data, workflow, and business priorities.
- Proactively troubleshoot issues, streamline handoffs, and maintain high-quality data hygiene.
- Lead or contribute to special projects that enable sales growth and operational excellence.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Proven experience in sales operations or related role, with strong expertise in HubSpot CRM administration and reporting.
- Strong experience in Excel and building models to shape strategic decision-making and resource allocation
- Demonstrated bias for action, with the ability to quickly assess situations, make informed decisions, and execute.
- High adaptability and comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complexity into clear, actionable steps.
- Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with an ability to see the bigger picture.
- Bonus: Experience in digital media, ad tech, or platform-based businesses.
