Intelligence Specialist Internship - Russia Focus

Job Description
As an OSINT collection and data management intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our datasets. Your job is to help advance data collection and product development initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include labeling and annotating data in your language of expertise to support our machine learning and AI projects, prospecting interesting new sources, and seeking new ways to automate our data management capabilities. We seek professionals with proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Russian, Farsi, Mandarin Chinese, or Japanese.
What you will do:
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate Chinese language data sources.
- Document and maintain Strider data assets.
- Accurately label and annotate text, images, audio, and video data.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of labeled data by following established guidelines and protocols.
- Organize and manage large datasets to maintain data integrity and usability.
- Work closely with our product, data science, and engineering teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality labeled data.
- Provide regular updates on progress and any challenges encountered during the labeling process.
- Collaborate with members from the Global Intelligence Team to analyze intelligence and help provide actionable insights on the threat landscape.
- Assist with projects to drive product development and automation.
What you will need to be successful:
- Proficiency in Russian.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce accurate work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and your language of expertise.
- Basic computer skills. Familiarity with data annotation or analysis tools is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Current undergraduate student seeking bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Interest in threat intelligence, competitive intelligence, and risk analysis
- Experience analyzing nation-state activities
- Ability to learn new concepts and threat actor Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
