Job Summary:

Strider is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter with a deep understanding of the cleared and government talent markets to drive our hiring strategies for mission-critical roles. This position is essential in identifying, engaging, and securing top talent with security clearances and government experience, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening our recruiting operations by leveraging industry networks, refining hiring practices, and positioning Strider as an employer of choice for highly specialized talent.

This role requires expertise in full-cycle recruiting, from proactive sourcing to strategic hiring execution, with an emphasis on security-cleared professionals, defense industry experts, and government talent pools.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for cleared and government-affiliated positions, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies to attract candidates with security clearances (TS/SCI, Secret, and other levels) and federal agency experience.
  • Utilize proactive sourcing methods such as networking, industry events, intelligence communities, military transition programs, and government contracting pipelines.
  • Leverage AI-driven recruitment tools and market intelligence to identify and engage passive talent in defense, intelligence, and national security sectors.

Hiring Strategy & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand hiring needs, refine role requirements, and set measurable recruitment goals.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, providing data-driven insights on talent trends, security clearance requirements, and government hiring challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with federal hiring guidelines, security clearance processes, and background check requirements.
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment strategies to expand access to highly skilled cleared professionals.

Process Optimization & Employer Branding

  • Continuously improve recruiting processes to enhance efficiency, inclusivity, and alignment with Strider’s hiring goals.
  • Develop candidate engagement initiatives to enhance the hiring experience for government and cleared talent.
  • Represent Strider at government and defense industry hiring events, military transition programs, and intelligence community networking forums.
  • Collaborate with People Operations to refine Strider’s employer branding strategy within the national security and cleared job market.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on cleared professionals, government contracting, intelligence, or defense industry hiring.
  • Deep knowledge of security clearance requirements, including TS/SCI, CI Poly, and government background investigations.
  • Experience working within federal hiring processes, defense contractors, or intelligence community talent pipelines.
  • Strong track record of sourcing and hiring for highly specialized roles in intelligence, cybersecurity, national security, and related fields.
  • Exceptional ability to engage, influence, and build trust with both hiring teams and candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), talent acquisition tools, and recruiting analytics.
  • Ability to navigate hiring challenges in a competitive government talent market.
