What we’re looking for

Our team of emoji-loving, collaborative, strategic designers is growing! Our group is passionate about storytelling, data-driven creative solutions, and visual design. You will join a passionate and ambitious brand marketing organization to take ownership of our brand design system and work with our design team on developing web assets, templates, components for SurveyMonkey.com, and more. 

What you’ll be working on

  • Contribute to our design system and component library in Figma 
  • Work with our Web Analytics and SEO teams to understand traffic drivers and user behavior to create data-driven design solutions to optimize against key performance metrics 
  • Work with our content and research teams to create unique interactive experiences and compelling data visualizations on our website and elsewhere 
  • Partner with our Web and Product Design teams to create and leverage micro-animations, unique user interactions, and other lightweight opportunities to “surprise and delight” our site visitors and users 
  • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes that illustrate key web interactions 
  • Partner with the broader marketing teams to produce assets to guide and support marketing efforts- such as wireframes and mockups of landing pages, email, microsites, blogs, and more. 
  • Support performance-driven campaigns, uplevel product launches, deliver amazing web-based brand experiences for events, virtual events, and more. 
  • Create elegant experiences from concept to launch that address business, brand, and user requirements while considering existing data. 
  • Maintain ownership and responsibility, including QA, throughout each project 
  • Work with our Creative Director, Head of Web, Program Managers, and other key stakeholders to align on goals and plans for projects and cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Demonstrate and advocate for your design by sharing work, using your storytelling skills- backed up by a strong point of view and an ability to present your decisions with solid rationale about how they address business goals 

We’d love to hear from people with

  • An excellent portfolio of work showcasing your attention to detail, best-in-class web design skills, and brand-driven storytelling based on design systems with a focus on motion, interactions, accessibility, and scalability 
  • 3-5 years of relevant work in the creative field, demonstrating excellence in web, digital advertising, events, sales support, and campaigns 
  • Expertise with Figma and Storybook or equivalent 
  • Expertise creating micro-animations, interactivity, and other web based motion graphics 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Aftereffects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) and GSuite (Google Slides/Sheets) 
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, CrazyEgg, etc.) 
  • Excellent documentation, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills 
  • Ability to communicate written and orally in English at the B2+ level 

This opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Heredia 3 days per week.
