Associate Recruiter/Office Assistant

What we’re looking for

This role is unique as it will be two-fold, you will work as an Associate Recruiter and also flex as needed to support events, recruiting coordination, and the in-office experience for our employees. 

As an Associate Recruiter, you will recruit for non-technical positions and leverage your recruiting expertise to drive the entire hiring process and ensure a diverse, skilled workforce. As an Employee Experience Coordinator, you will be an essential member of the office environment and responsible for organizing all activities that facilitate the smooth running of an office through a range of administrative, financial, and managerial tasks, including hosting events for employees. 

This role will report directly to the Director of Recruiting. 

What you’ll be working on

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for a range of positions, prioritizing a positive candidate experience at every stage of the hiring process. Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline recruitment processes. 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand diverse hiring needs and provide strategic support. 
  • Manage the logistics of the entire candidate process from scheduling virtual and in-office interviews to offer negotiations. 
  • Provide scheduling and administrative support to a Senior Recruiter based in Costa Rica.  
  • Develop and maintain documentation for office procedures and processes. 
  • Manage vendor relationships, including building management, security, and catering including ordering snacks and restocking inventory.  
  • Administer onsite guest and vendor check-in, access badging employees, and visitors. Monitor office utilization data as needed. 
  • Use Zendesk service desk to address employee inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and accurately. 
  • Coordinate office events, including promotion, scheduling, and coordination. Collaborate with other teams within SurveyMonkey as needed. 

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for both technical and non-technical positions in a corporate environment and 1-2 years of office management or event experience. 
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse a plus), scheduling tools (GoodTime a plus), and sourcing tools.  
  • Strong negotiation skills for successful offer closures and vendor management. 
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks to completion. 
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, including spreadsheets, documents, and slides. 
  • Ability to work independently from a geographically dispersed team.  
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 kilograms. 
  • Ability to communicate written and orally in English at the B2+ level 

This opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Heredia 3 days per week.
