Client Executive

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

+ Oversee the client experience; delegate the day-to-day tasks to appropriate team member

+ Lead the development and execution of clients’ benefit plan strategies with assistance from Consultants

+ Assist with the development of retention strategy for existing clients and acquisition strategy of new clients through collaboration with Consultant(s) and team

+ Coordinate and facilitate internal meetings in preparation for client meetings; delegate tasks to appropriate team member and create PowerPoint presentation for client meetings

+ Schedule, participate in/conduct meetings for clients/prospects including enrollment meetings, pre-renewal, quarterly reviews, etc.

+ Responsible for sending key meeting notes to clients and sharing relevant information with teammates and peers via Microsoft OneNote

+ Participate with Account Manager in the implementation of carrier, TPA, vendor change or addition of new line(s) of coverage

+ Identify and assist in the development of client communication strategy; coordinate content with Communication Specialist

+ Work with Communications Specialist to deploy value-added services (i.e., Zywave, Online Enrollment, Benefit Administration)

+ Work with Health Risk Analytics team in the analysis of claims information and development of additional value-add reporting

+ Coordinate wellness strategy/campaign based on trend analysis of Health Risk Analytics team with Wellness Coordinator

+ Work with Compliance Director to ensure legal/regulatory compliance of our clients’ benefit plans

+ Work with the Consultant in the preparation of new and renewal MJ service agreements for review and execution by CFO/President

+ Provide oversight and mentoring to Account Managers, as appropriate

+ Develop and maintain productive relationships with key personnel at TPAs, carriers and vendors

 

TECHNICAL FUNCTIONS

 

+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

+ Previous use of OneNote, InDesign, Benefit Point, and/or Zywave is a plus

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION

 

+ Bachelor’s degree in business or work equivalent

+ A minimum of 4 years’ experience of consulting or HR experience with an in-depth knowledge of employee benefits and insurance, including experience with self-funded benefit plans and ancillary coverages

+ Demonstrated skills: analytical, problem-solving, sense of urgency, detail-oriented, excellent organizational and time management, follow through

+ Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional presentation

 

 

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. In addition to your salary, The MJ Companies offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive compensation, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This role will pay an estimated base salary of $130,000-$170,000.
