THUNDER | JOB DESCRIPTION

Agentforce Developer (Contract)

Location: Offshore, Remote (Preferably Latin America, Philippines, or India)

Position Overview:

Thunder is committed to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to empower businesses and transform the way they operate. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced Agentforce Developer Contractor to support current (and possible future) Agentforce projects. You will be responsible for leveraging artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance and optimize Salesforce solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop custom AI Agentforce solutions, and drive innovation to streamline business processes and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

This role demands proficiency in Flow, LWC, APEX and platform features. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Agentforce, even in its early stages, and a strong track record of configuring Salesforce implementations that include Einstein within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.

Our Salesforce AgentForce Developer will:

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using APEX and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Analyze business processes and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Design, configure, and maintain Salesforce lab demo environments to support testing, demonstrations, and training sessions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and data integrity.
  • Manage Salesforce projects from conception to implementation, ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, delegating tasks to all project team members in order to deliver high-quality projects that use AI in Salesforce.
  • Lead projects by being the primary point of contact for clients and Project Managers, along with being accountable for each project team member’s performance within the project.
  • Provide technical support and training to users as needed, including explaining Generative AI fundamentals.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and recommend improvements leveraging new features, especially around Agentforce, Data Cloud, and AI capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience developing specifically for Salesforce, specifically in Sales & Service Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Agentforce - yes, we know it’s brand new - but we’re looking for more than just surface-level exposure. Ideally, you've spent time actively configuring and working within the tool, not just watching the demo.
  • Preferred experience: Agent Studio (Copilot) Prompt Builder, OOTB AI GenAI & Predictive Features (Case Classification, Predictive tooling, etc), DataCloud (External Data Input), structured and unstructured data, and embedding into systems, Experience Cloud (MIAW, Omni-Channel setup experience).
  • Exposure and experience with Generative AI technologies or capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience working with data sources, APIs, and integration tools to ensure seamless data flow and accurate data management within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Experience with data management and governance best practices including privacy and consent.
  • Detailed understanding of the development of modules within Salesforce and how those modules tie into a broader solution.
  • Proficiency in programming using Salesforce.com, Java, JavaScript, and XML and their use in the development of CRM solutions.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related disciplines.
  • Ability to work within a virtual global team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • At least 3 Active Salesforce Certifications
    • Preferred:
      • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
      • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
      • Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant
      • Salesforce AI Associate
      • Salesforce AI Specialist

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
