Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on leader to own, scale, and expand Thunder’s Consumer Business Services (CBS) practice within the Salesforce ecosystem. This is a build-and-grow opportunity, as our next driven leader will help integrate our industry-focused approach and take our success to the next level.

As an Industry Leader, you’ll own industry revenue, ensure project success and profitability, and lead Thunder’s CBS go-to-market strategy. You bring deep Salesforce and CBS industry knowledge, the ability to support deals end-to-end, and a magnetic presence that collaborates closely with internal sales and delivery teams to drive growth.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a high-performing CBS industry business line. You’ll be responsible for developing industry-focused use cases, establishing credibility with Salesforce Core RVPs and AEs, and ensuring Thunder is known for solving real business problems across the Consumer Business Services landscape.

Responsibilities:

Industry Strategy + Growth

  • Serve as Thunder’s CBS SME and a trusted advisor to Salesforce AEs, RVPs, and internal teams
  • Own and drive revenue targets for the CBS practice, ensuring sustainable growth and project profitability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Salesforce Core RVPs and AEs, supporting joint account planning and strategic deal execution
  • Develop and refine industry-specific use cases and value propositions that resonate with CBS customers and differentiate Thunder in the market
  • Act as a key point of contact for Salesforce co-sell opportunities and CBS go-to-market efforts
  • Partner with Thunder’s Sales team to support deals, shape proposals, and manage industry-specific pipeline forecasts

Delivery + Client Success

  • Own project profitability, delivery success, and customer satisfaction across your CBS book of business
  • Oversee the success of Salesforce projects under your leadership, ensuring delivery quality, margin protection, and strong client outcomes
  • Achieve utilization and revenue targets while ensuring projects drive outcomes that fuel growth
  • Serve as an executive sponsor or delivery lead on strategic projects

Practice Leadership

  • Support hiring, mentorship, and career growth as the team expands
  • Help define content strategy, thought leadership initiatives, and industry events
  • Identify and recruit top talent aligned to CBS growth plans
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive strategic planning and practice development for the CBS vertical

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of consulting, delivery leadership, or program management experience, with significant focus on the Consumer Business Services industry
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce solutions, customer lifecycle, and go-to-market motions within the CBS sector
  • Strong existing relationships with Salesforce Core RVPs, AEs, and ecosystem partners
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and taking industry-specific use cases to market
  • Proven ability to drive revenue, manage project profitability, and lead successful Salesforce engagements
  • Background in building or scaling teams, mentoring talent, and supporting practice development efforts
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Consultant, or Architect tracks) are preferred
  • Ability to lead hands-on while building strategy in a remote, fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience at a Salesforce partner, systems integrator, or CBS company using Salesforce is highly valued

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
