ABOUT THE ROLE

The Treasury team acts as 1st LoD and is at the forefront of driving financial excellence and supporting strategic growth. The Treasury team mission is to optimise the company's financial resources and investment, manage financial risks, ensure robust liquidity and effective cash management and comprehensive treasury operations.

Moreover the team collaborates closely with the product and business team to align financial strategies with business objectives. By contributing to impactful financial decisions, the Treasury team aims to enable sustainable success and growth.

As a Treasury Manager (Automation and Systems), you will play a crucial role in the team, leading technology and automation improvements across Treasury operations, with a strong focus on process automation, system implementation, data integration and operational efficiency.  The role focuses on delivering solutions to enhance liquidity management, cash visibility, forecasting accuracy, risk management and control frameworks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Automation and process improvement
    • Identify automation opportunities across cash management, liquidity forecasting, bank reporting,intercompany processes, investments and FX exposure management
    • Lead the design and rollout of automation solutions
    • Re-engineer manual processes to ensure scalability and standardisation
  • Treasury Systems Ownership
    • Serve as functional SME for treasury systems including TMS (Atlar).
    • Manage system upgrades, enhancements and configuration changes.
    • Oversee user access, controls and system documentation.
  • Data and reporting
    • Improve data quality, automation and standardisation of treasury reporting.
    • Build dashboards for liquidity, cashflow forecasting, debt, investments and risk exposures.
  • Project management
    • Lead end to end treasury technology and automation projects, including design, testing, deployment and change management.
    • Maintain project plans, milestones, risks and issues.
    • Facilitate cross functional meetings and drive stakeholder engagement.
    • Ensure any project delivery aligns with treasury strategy, compliance requirements and internal controls.
  • BAU support
    • Support Treasury teams on key BAU processes around operational cash management, liquidity and capital forecasting.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

Tide is seeking an experienced and visionary Treasury Manager. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Treasury transformation
  • Demonstrated success in delivering treasury system or automation projects
  • Hands on experience delivering a TMS, ideally Atlar.
  • Prior experience in financial services – preferably in technology-driven & scale-up environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cash-flow forecasting, flow of funds and capital management
  • Self-starter, independent and extreme ownership mentality
  • Experience utilising BI reporting tools (Looker/Power BI/Tableau etc) is desirable
  • Experience working within a dynamic and strong paced environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
