Key Account Specialist (Supermarkets) - Maternity Cover

Brussels, Brussels-Capital, Belgium

We are Too Good To Go, a certified and proud B-corp with a clear mission: inspire and motivate everyone to take action against food waste 🌍. The movement against food waste was founded in Denmark in 2015 and that was only the beginning: currently we are active in 19 countries! In Belgium we started our journey in 2017 and 7 years later our team consists of more than 30 'Food Heroes'. In 2024 we joined forces with the Dutch market and we now concur food waste as one international BENE (Belgium & Netherlands) team. With more than 6.5 million app downloads in the Netherlands and Belgium combined and more than 28.000 partners, we are working hard towards a world without food waste.

📲 You probably know us from our app, where we offer leftover food and drinks from supermarkets, restaurants, suppliers, cafes, bakeries, hotels and specialty stores to users of our app. We have already saved more than 42 million meals from the bin in Belgium & the Netherlands. Worldwide we saved more than 410 million meals, which is the CO2 equivalent of 650,000 flights Brussels > New York. Now that's making an impact! But we are more than an app: whether it concerns households, schools, companies or politics: we want to inspire everyone to take action!

To combat climate change and save our planet, we must make our mission a reality. That is why we are looking for an ambitious Key Account Store Operations Specialist (KASOS) for the Belgian market who inspires, motivates and supports our retail partners in the fight against food waste.

Your mission

This will be a 6 months maternity cover: July - December.

As Key Account Store Operations Specialist you will retain and optimise KA supply levels, quality, and ensure product adoption through direct store engagement. You’ll be a specialist of the franchised supermarkets, which is a strategic pillar for the Belgian team.

You will be part of the Key Account team and will support the Key Account Managers through your expertise on store level. You will report directly into the Senior Key Account Manager.

It is your mission to make more impact and help change the retail world for the better. A big mission, but you are not alone!

Your role:

  • You will manage a portfolio of stores and work to ensure their supply is optimised, their experience with TGTG customers is positive, and take action to improve store quality KPI’s.

  • You make sure that administrative tasks are ticked, customer and partner complaints are handled smoothly and that regular service calls to our partner’s outlets are made.

In collaboration with Key Account Managers & Marketing:

  • You will use the knowledge you gain from monitoring dashboards, shop floor operations and other data points to “feed” the KAM’s in their decision making. This in order to improve the overall execution and performance.
  • Support the Key Account Manager or other relevant team members to achieve large projects, such as the roll out of new key accounts and in-store activities.
  • You will support marketing and executional related projects. For example, you coordinate the making of an instruction video or manual, work on a “milestone board” for a partner press/socials release to showcase their success.

What you bring:

  • A proven experience of instore operations’ knowledge
  • You are eager to make the world a better place and can’t wait to join the fight against food waste.
  • You have affinity with the retail segment and preferably have work experience either at the supplier or retail side.
  • You have a professional and proactive attitude and don’t shy away from taking responsibility. You enjoy the diversity of picking up the phone, visiting stores, doing administrative work and picking up marketing related projects.
  • You ask the right questions, are an active listener hence you know what our customers want and how you can help them.
  • You are fun and easy to work with, you are a real team player.
  • We are a fast paced organisation, you are able to deal with ambiguity, be creative and think outside of the box.
  • You are a steady and organised person, a pillar of strength. People can rely on you.
  • You show eagerness and willingness to learn and grow. Your ability to self reflect is a great stepping stone to develop in this role and your future career within Too Good To Go!
  • It goes without saying that you are a proud ambassador of our brand and radiate our mission and vision to your accounts with great passion and enthusiasm.

Our values:

  • We win together: food waste is a big beast to fight. We can do it if we fight together as Food Heroes with no ego. We believe in a #oneteam.
  • We raise the bar: we always push for more. We work smart, smash barriers and elevate one another.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
