Sr. Sales Acct EX-ACQ
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Sr. Sales Account Executive – Acquisitions. This role focuses on sales, coordination, and account management for the company’s product line, targeting new industry logos and select existing clients. The position emphasizes a "hunter sales mentality" and is responsible for achieving and exceeding annual revenue and profit goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Sales Experience: Minimum 12 years in sales or account management, operating in a quota-driven environment.
- Industry Expertise: 10+ years in a Retail Technology Provider Company with experience in software, hardware, or services (e.g., SaaS, Managed Services).
- Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
- Client Interaction: Strong presentation skills with experience engaging C-level executives and senior leadership.
- Retail Knowledge: Practical understanding of retail industry business models.
Preferred Skills
- Established industry contacts in the assigned geography or portfolio.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- College degree preferred.
- Passion for success with demonstrated expertise in sales and account management techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute strategic and consultative account plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Focus on new account penetration and customer logo acquisition.
- Handle customer inquiries and objections throughout the sales process.
Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospects, customers, agents, and lead generators.
- Present Toshiba products to senior executives, highlighting value propositions like ROI, design flexibility, and integration benefits.
Pipeline Development
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce to track opportunities, forecast sales, and monitor funnel progress.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with internal teams (Professional Services, Product Management, Engineering, etc.) to meet client and company objectives.
Market Awareness & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer challenges to inform strategic decisions.
Administrative Excellence
- Maintain accurate customer records, expense plans, budgets, and sales databases.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs professionally and promptly.
Travel & Virtual Engagement
- Travel to maintain customer relationships, attend trade shows, and visit client facilities, supplemented by virtual engagement as needed.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance work practices and team efficiency.
