Strategy Analyst Specialist

Guadalajara Office

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategy Associate to join our Corporate Strategy team, with a dedicated focus on competitive and market dynamics globally with specific focus on Latin America. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for all LATAM-related strategic insights, supporting Americas sales, marketing, and senior leaders in making informed business decisions.

The ideal candidate will be based in Mexico, possess an MBA, be fluent in both English and Spanish, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collect market, industry, customer and competitor intelligence from public information and 3rd party sources.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Contribute to M&A due diligence and company assessments
  • Develop processes to continuously monitor the external environment and to efficiently identify and deliver relevant insights for the business to cross-functional stakeholders (i.e. periodic news brief, internal market and competitive intelligence repositories)
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external data sources to create ad hoc and periodic reports and presentations for an executive audience
  • Evaluate primary and secondary market research sources to provide consumer, retailer, and competitor insights for strategic planning purposes and for building compelling solution offerings for targeted markets.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Track, analyze, and report on competitors’ strategies, market positioning, product launches, pricing changes, win/loss insights, and M&A activity within LATAM.

  • Market Analysis: Understand and assess market dynamics, Identify and interpret macroeconomic, regulatory, technological, and consumer trends affecting the markets worldwide, particularly in Latin America.
  • Strategic Insights: Translate research into actionable recommendations for regional and global leadership.
  • Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with the HQ-based Strategy team in the US, as well as LATAM product, commercial, marketing, and operations teams, to ensure alignment on priorities.
  • Executive Reporting: Develop clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations for senior leadership.
