
Technical Project Manager III
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager III, The TPM III leads medium-to-large projects or multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards. This role is accountable for backlog health, scheduling, financial tracking, risk management, and cross-team coordination to resolve dependencies while maintaining accurate forecasts. The TPM III drives delivery ceremonies, supports continuous improvement, and begins to mentor junior project managers. By applying strong technical understanding of software stacks, data flows, and customer usage patterns, the TPM III credibly engages in delivery conversations across functions, improving practices and strengthening stakeholder confidence in project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field required
- 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management within a software or technology environment
- Experience managing medium-to-large scale projects with multiple dependencies
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles
- Proven experience in financial tracking, forecasting, and resource planning
- Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency with project and delivery management tools
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification
- Experience in matrixed or enterprise environments
- Exposure to modern architectures, cloud platforms, and API-driven systems
- Experience driving process improvement initiatives
- Prior experience mentoring or developing junior team members

- Strong project management expertise with experience leading medium-to-large projects or concurrent workstreams
- Skilled in backlog management, scheduling, estimation, and delivery ceremonies
- Proficient in financial tracking, forecasting, and variance management
- Working knowledge of ARB and SDLC processes and their impact on delivery quality
- Proficiency with delivery tools such as Jira, MS Project, or equivalent platforms
- Effective communication and collaboration across technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to provide reliable forecasts, accurate project status updates, and proactively escalate risks or blockers
- Growing experience in mentoring or coaching less experienced project managers

- Track and report financial performance, ensuring alignment between plan and actuals and highlighting risks to cost or profitability
- Provide consistent, transparent communication of project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders
- Engage credibly in conversations around product usage, data dependencies, and delivery practices
- Support continuous improvement of estimation, planning, and delivery processes
- Mentor junior project managers, contributing to capability building and knowledge sharing
- Ensure adherence to delivery frameworks, governance, and quality standards
