Engineering Technician
ConexSmart’s Engineering Technician is a dynamic team player who uses math and science to solve complex technical problems in the avionics industry. This position joins a team who enjoys developing new products, providing maintenance to current products, enhancing the use and design of existing products, and improving efficiencies across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- 7-10 years of field experience or a bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
Experience:
- Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery is required.
- Experience using CAD, data analysis programs, and related software is required.
- Experience in project management is preferred.
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of [include area of focus]
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal skills; able to read, comprehend and create written and verbal instruction in the English language, is required.
- High level of manual dexterity and detail orientation is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop solutions based on project requirements and company standards using simulations/modeling to support expansions and change.
- Develop and implement processes that improve production and deliver quality outputs by securing and managing engineering service providers, inspectors, and other technical resources that may be needed to develop the project.
- Demonstrate outstanding abilities in conflict resolution, leadership presence, and organizational management.
- Develop new products and testing new designs.
- Demonstrate ability to inspect and identify non-compliant products and processes.
- Develop strategy to support team development and rate manufacturing environment.
- Lead production technicians in special project efforts.
- Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as ISO:9001 and AS:9100 Quality Standards, Lean Manufacturing and Employee Safety.
Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.
