Customer Service and HR Coordinator
Position Summary
Cicoil, a leading manufacturer of flexible flat cables and cable assemblies, is seeking a Customer Service and HR Coordinator to support both customer service and human resources functions at our Valencia, CA facility. Founded in 1956, Cicoil has built a strong reputation for delivering high-performance cable solutions used in mission-critical applications across a wide range of industries. Our patented extrusion process and proprietary Flexx-Sil material enable the production of highly durable, flexible cables designed to withstand extreme environments and demanding operating conditions.
This role plays a key part in supporting daily business operations by managing customer order entry, maintaining accurate system data, coordinating customer requests, and assisting with HR processes such as recruiting, onboarding, and employee support. Cicoil’s fast-paced, high-performance environment requires a candidate who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling high-volume administrative responsibilities.
Working closely with internal teams, this position helps ensure the timely delivery of both standard and custom-engineered cable solutions, often manufactured and shipped within industry-leading turnaround times. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining Cicoil’s commitment to quality, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction, while also supporting a positive and efficient workplace for employees.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative, customer service support, or HR coordination roles
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with data entry, order processing, or HR administrative support strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ERP (e.g., Epicor), CRM, and/or HRIS systems highly desired
Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of order processing and administrative workflows
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or HRIS systems
- General awareness of HR processes (onboarding, payroll, benefits) preferred
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage high-volume administrative tasks
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Proficiency in data entry and system navigation
Job Responsibilities
Customer Service & Administrative Support
- Enter and process customer orders accurately in ERP systems (e.g., Epicor)
- Update and maintain customer records, portals, and order data
- Assist with order tracking, shipment updates, and customer requests
- Monitor backlog reports and communicate updates to internal teams
- Support general customer service inbox and route inquiries appropriately
- Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking customers as needed
Data Management & Coordination
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data across ERP, CRM, and internal systems
- Perform high-volume data entry and updates with strong attention to detail
- Assist in generating reports and tracking order or operational metrics
- Coordinate between departments to ensure timely processing of requests
HR Coordination & Administrative Support
- Assist with job postings, candidate coordination, and interview scheduling
- Support onboarding processes, including documentation and new hire setup
- Maintain employee records and update HRIS systems
- Assist with timekeeping and payroll preparation processes
- Provide general administrative support to HR functions
Employee & Benefits Support
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR processes, benefits, and policies
- Assist with benefits administration and documentation
- Provide bilingual support to Spanish-speaking employees
- Support employee communications and HR-related documentation
Compliance & General Support
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance requirements
- Assist with safety documentation, incident tracking, and required postings
- Provide translation support for HR and operational communications as needed
Other Duties
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks as needed
- Support cross-functional projects and team initiatives
- Assist other departments with day-to-day administrative needs
Other responsibilities, initiatives, and ad-hoc projects as required.

Compensation: $23.00 - $27.00 / Hour
