Senior QA Engineer - Payments Team

About the team:
The Payments Team is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of money into TransferGo and out to recipients worldwide. They work with a variety of partners to enable essential services like card payments, instant transfers to numerous destinations, and more. The team is known for being friendly and welcoming, always ready to offer support and help one another succeed. Joining this team means becoming part of a group that values collaboration, innovation, and making a meaningful impact in global money transfers.
Here’s what you’ll be doing as a QA Engineer:
- Analysing logs and debugging issues
- Evaluating and providing feedback on requirements
- Identifying and promptly communicating any obstacles
- Establish and implement quality assurance strategies, standards, and processes
- Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents
You’ll report to our Engineering Manager.
Here’s what we’d love from our new QA Engineer:
- Experience with API and microservices testing
- Proficiency in testing web and mobile applications
- Knowledge of MySQL
- Strong understanding of the HTTP protocol and client-server architecture
- Ability to create test artifacts such as manuals, checklists, and test cases
- Willingness to take ownership of quality throughout the software development process
- Ability to drive continuous improvements in quality processes
- Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests
And if you also have experience with these, even better:
- Working with payment systems
- Integrating third-party services

Salary: €4,500 - €5,800, based on experience
