About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to support ongoing initiatives that drive the vetting of candidates for the internal product team. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining systems for Vetting, Content processing, and Testing, with a focus on delivering high-impact features for our team. This is a full-stack development role, where you’ll be responsible for both frontend and backend development in a fast-paced, startup-driven environment.
You’ll be working closely with our engineering and data teams, designing and building solutions that streamline and automate the vetting and evaluation process. Your contributions will help us scale operations and ensure the quality and reliability of our LLM delivery pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack features: Design and implement both frontend (React) and backend (Node.js) components to support key systems for candidate Vetting, content management, and testing.
- System architecture: Architect robust, scalable, and secure systems optimized for performance, ensuring they can handle large volumes of data and traffic.
- Work on matching and vetting algorithms: Develop and improve matching algorithms that help evaluate and filter candidates for LLM training and delivery.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and human operations teams to gather feedback, iterate on product features, and align technical solutions with business needs.
- Startup-driven fitment: Be proactive and flexible, adapting to the fast-paced environment of a growing startup. You will have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and drive initiatives that directly impact product and business outcomes.
Exceptional candidates may have:
- Proven track record in delivering web applications in a startup environment (e.g., previous startup experience).
- Strong ability to collaborate across functions and bridge the gap between engineering, product, and data teams.
- Experience in fast-paced environments where agility, problem-solving, and innovation are key to success.
Required Skills:
- Full-Stack Development: Expertise in React (frontend) and Node.js (backend) for building scalable, performant applications.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and managing applications.
- Databases: Proficient in working with MySQL, including data modeling, query optimization, and database management.
- Backend & API Development: Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs to support frontend features and data processing.
