About the Role

The Carrier Manager is responsible for enhancing carrier visibility, compliance, and performance through data-driven strategies and best practices. The role focuses on strengthening relationships with carriers, optimizing tracking technologies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving process automation.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Carrier Performance & Relationship Management
  • Lead carrier improvement plan processes as required.
  • Interpret and publish carrier scorecards and service metrics.
  • Coordinate and conduct Carriers meetings and QBR’s.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Continuous savings initiatives through market benchmark and network analysis.
  • Support on carriers’ touchless execution service through MacroPoint, EDI, etc.
• Operational Support
  • Act as a primary escalation point between operations teams and carriers for issue resolution.
  • Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements

Basic Qualifications

• College degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineer or related.
• Microsoft Excel-- Intermediate knowledge including but not limited to VLookup, Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Proficient Spanish and English written and verbal.

• Simultaneous management of multiple tasks.
• Ability to envision and implement new concepts/strategies.
• Ability to communicate and work with different internal teams and external customers at all levels.
• Ability to understand market trends.
