About the Role

This position in our Monterrey Center of Excellence supports a variety of customer facing functions for operations in the US and Canada. The person in this role will work Monday through Friday from 06:00-15:00 (and switch to 07:00-16:00 when the US changes time in October). This person will be on call evenings and every third weekend.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Work directly with the client, including local site visits and meetings
  • Serve as the first point for escalations, questions or concerns within your area and from the customer, providing prompt and effective resolutions. Collaborate with when needed to address complex issues. Issues may be situational, process, or system driven. 
  • Customer-specific reporting and analysis, including making recommendations for improvements with carriers, planning process, etc. This will include data scrubbing and validation.
  • Dedicate 50-70% of your time to active production. Time may vary based on volume, projects, expertise, etc. This includes covering for team members when they have time off.
  • Provide administrative support to your team by redistributing workload during absences or when additional support is required.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and gather ideas from your daily interactions and monitoring of team queues using TMS and any customer-specific systems.
  • Utilize reports and other tools, like Tableau, to analyze and report on volumes, changes, and trends, further enhancing your skills in data analysis.
  • Facilitate team meetings, foster positive relationships with team members and collaborate with other teams to drive projects and initiatives. This collaboration will provide valuable learning opportunities in leadership. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Advanced English, verbal and written.
  • 2 years of logistics experience.
  • Must have some kind direct facility experience (warehouse, plant, cross-dock, etc.)
