The UnitedMasters team is made up of musicians, marketers, engineers, and storytellers with backgrounds from YouTube, SoundCloud, Pandora, Facebook, Uber, Dropbox, Complex, VICE, and more. We work hand in hand with the award-winning creative teams that forge those innovative partnerships at Translation (our in-house creative advertising agency).
We are looking for a Sync Account Manager to join UnitedMasters! Please note that this role is a Hybrid role: three days in office and two days remote.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and execute sync-focused partnerships secured by the sales team, serving as the primary point of contact for client communication
- Manage client onboarding, including the creation of decks and other key materials on assigned programs
- Schedule and lead monthly status and creative calls ensuring alignment on goals and progress
- Create and manage documents to track each partner’s usage progress across a large portfolio of clients
- Proactively pitch track usage opportunities (playlists, custom compositions, one-off licenses, etc) to current clients, working closely with the commercial operations/curation teams
- Collaborate with talent, A&R, data, and sales teams to execute artist engagement components such as social posts and talent appearances
- Track and report placements across social channels, websites, broadcast assets, and other platforms, sharing insights with the sync team
- Collaborate with data and sales teams to create comprehensive recap reports for sync clients
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of music licensing and the sync industry trends
- Ability to juggle multiple partnerships, campaigns, and deadlines efficiently
- Strong organizational skills for tracking usage, placements, and ensuring compliance with deal terms
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to cross-collaborate successfully across internal teams
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in account management
- Proven track record of excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, music business, or a related field
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience using CRM and Project Management tools such as Ironclad, Monday.com, & Hubspot

Salary Hiring Range: $70,000 - $85,000
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide (e.g. bonus, stock options, 401(k) match, etc.)
Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.

The salary range above is for the NY/CA. As a company, we have a location based strategy, which means the salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired in another location.
