Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital is excited to announce we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team as the Supervisor our our two emergency satellite clinics Lowry & Wash Park

 

About the job: This position will require you to oversee the satellite locations at Wash Park and Lowry. These are standalone emergency clinics that are part of the Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital family, but separately located with their own staff. You’ll be responsible for staff oversight (currently a team of 18 support staff members across the two locations), scheduling, hiring, managing the floor, and other day-to-day aspects of clinic management.

 

How you'll make a difference 

• Work alongside the leadership team at WRAH to ensure that we are delivering the highest quality medicine and patient care
• Assist with resolving client disputes
• Hiring new team members (with the support and assistance of other members of leadership)
• Supporting technicians and assistants with their growth and professional development
• Training new employees
• Help to create and maintain an efficient, effective, and gold standard ER workflow 

What you will bring 

• Experience working in a veterinary clinic required
• Experience working in a specialty practice preferred, but not required
• Leadership experience preferred
• Experience with EzyVet is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of handling staff schedules
• Handling of employee reviews
• Effective techniques for employee conflict resolution 

Schedule: To be discussed, but negotiable 

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 an hour
