We are looking to add a Partnership Advocate to our growing team for Advanced Veterinary Specialty Group & Veterinary Surgical Specialists of Orange County!
About the Role
As a Partnership Advocate, you will further connect our hospitals and the referring veterinary community, fostering trust-based relationships that strengthen collaboration and enhance the overall experience for our partners. Your role is to develop and execute strategic initiatives that strengthen referral partnerships, drive engagement, and expand our network of trusted veterinary partners. By combining relationship-building with data-driven insights, and targeted marketing efforts, you will help drive sustainable growth while reinforcing our commitment to exceptional patient care.
What You Will Do
- Build & Strengthen Relationships
- Serve as a trusted liaison and advocate for referring veterinarians, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are addressed.
- Develop and execute a structured engagement plan to support, educate, and strengthen relationships with veterinary practices.
- Foster long-term partnerships by identifying and delivering value-driven solutions tailored to each practice.
- Drive Growth Through Strategic Engagement and Marketing
- Analyze referral patterns, market trends, and community dynamics to identify opportunities for expansion and increased collaboration.
- In partnership with supportive Marketing teams, develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns to grow referrals and deepen existing partnerships.
- Collaborate with hospital operations and medical teams to align outreach efforts with business goals and capacity.
- Proactively engage with veterinary teams through in-person visits, educational programs, and collaborative discussions to enhance brand loyalty and increase referrals.
- Enhance the Referral Experience
- Act as a liaison between hospital teams and referral partners, ensuring smooth communication and continuity of care.
- Identify and address barriers to referrals, streamlining processes to improve the experience for both veterinarians and pet parents.
- Provide ongoing education about hospital services, specialists, and treatment options.
- Leverage Insights & Advocate for Veterinary Partners
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, using data to inform decision-making and refine strategies.
- Advocate for the needs and perspectives of referring veterinarians within the organization, ensuring alignment between hospital offerings and market needs.
- Represent the organization at industry events, continuing education programs, and networking opportunities.
What We Are Looking For
- A passion for veterinary medicine and the ability to connect with veterinary professionals in a meaningful way.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build trust and rapport.
- Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or veterinary sales is highly preferred.
- A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement strategic initiatives.
- Willingness to travel locally to visit practices on a consistent basis and out of market for industry events and training.
Working Environment and Expectations
- Travel: Frequent local travel (up to 75%) within the assigned market is required, with occasional out-of-market travel for training programs, team offsites and conferences
- Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, adaptable to business needs
- Salary: This is a salary position of $62,000 - $72,000 / year
- Work Environment:
- Based in a hospital office setting with some remote work capabilities.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels and environments where pets are present.
- Occasional exposure to airborne particles, patient illnesses, and chemicals related to animal care.
- Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and drive long distances.
