Join Southern Nevada’s Premier 24/7 Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Hospital

VE+CC is Las Vegas’s only critical care unit. With an exceptional team of highly trained and experienced veterinarians, veterinary technicians and client services representatives, we’re proud to provide our clients with timely access to the most advanced emergency services available today in our 24-hour emergency/critical care hospital. VE+CC is the only veterinary hospital in Las Vegas offering board-certified specialists in emergency and critical care. Our 28,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with advanced imaging including ultrasound, CT, Hallmarq MRI and echocardiogram. It also has an in-house blood bank and advanced transfusion therapy, in-house pharmacy, in-house laboratory, 10 exam rooms, 6 treatment tables and 1 surgery suite. Our team culture is highly focused on learning and development. We are uniquely collaborative and familial in that coaching and mentorship are key to who we are. 

VE+CC is located adjacent to the Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center (LVVSC) which allows for thoughtful consultation with specialists in surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, oncology and neurology. The combination of VE+CC and LVVSC allows for rapid intervention, diagnosis and treatment across a broad range of specialties, without the need to transport pets to other facilities. The team at VE+CC and LVVSC work together to provide the highest quality of collaborative medicine to ensure all patients are treated with the best level of care.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Area Manager and working closely with the Medical Director, the Hospital Director plays a pivotal leadership role. This position is responsible for driving hospital performance, growth, and profitability while fostering a culture rooted in integrity, service and clinical  excellence collaboration, and community. The Hospital Director will champion data-driven decision-making, optimize operational workflows, and ensure a supportive, high-performing workplace environment that attracts and retains top talent.

Responsibilities:

Hospital Administrator – Lead with Purpose, Drive Operational Excellence

Are you a dynamic, people-first leader with a passion for healthcare operations? We’re seeking an experienced Hospital Administrator to take the reins of day-to-day leadership and help shape the future of our thriving hospital. In this high-impact role, you’ll partner closely with medical leadership, corporate teams, and front-line staff to ensure exceptional care, operational efficiency, and team success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Medical Leadership: Collaborate with the Hospital Medical Director to ensure effective delivery and continual improvement of medical services.
  • Drive Growth & Performance: Lead P&L management, track KPIs, and use financial/benchmarking data to guide decisions and exceed business targets.
  • Create a World-Class Environment: Ensure our facility and equipment are always clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for staff, pets, and their owners.
  • Lead Strategic Implementation: Translate national and regional strategy into meaningful local action, partnering with cross-functional teams across Finance, HR, Marketing, and more.
  • Champion Compliance & Safety: Ensure our hospital is always operating within local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining the highest standards in cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
  • Deliver Excellence in Care & Service: Oversee the full client and patient journey—from check-in to follow-up—ensuring compassion, efficiency, and quality at every step.
  • Partner with Medical Leadership: Collaborate with the Hospital Medical Director to ensure effective delivery and continual improvement of medical services.
  • Drive Growth & Performance: Lead P&L management, track KPIs, and use financial/benchmarking data to guide decisions and exceed business targets.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospital or multi-site healthcare management. 5+ years of managerial experience preferred
  • Strong financial management acumen and a proven track record of formulating and executing growth-oriented strategic plans that drive exceptional performance
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across functions and levels
  • Passion for team development and a commitment to client and patient satisfaction
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while driving results
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Veterinary industry experiences helpful but not required
