Digital Performance Marketing Manager
We’re looking for a digital performance marketing professional who is equal parts strategic thinker and hands on content creator. The ideal candidate has expertise in local search, thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings creativity and curiosity to their work, and is passionate about driving growth in a scaling business.
What You’ll Do
As our Digital Performance Marketing Manager, you will help drive strategies that map to maximizing visibility in local search. You’ll combine a digital experimentation mindset with content strategy/creation to drive optimizations and measurable growth. This is a high-impact role with visibility and ownership across multiple initiatives. You'll:
- Make timely updates to website and local maps listings content.
- Ensure tracking mechanics are in place to report keyword rankings and search visibility, paid campaigns performance, and website visitor behavior.
- Plan and manage a robust performance improvement testing roadmap.
- Use tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI platforms to rapidly create and iterate content for testing.
- Create digital content (copy, graphics, video clips, etc.) and execute across our websites, maps listings, paid ads, and future digital channels.
- Monitor dashboards and campaign performance; analyze results and translate insights into action.
- Work with support teams at Google, Microsoft, and Yelp to uncover opportunities to test and improve paid search campaigns.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure marketing aligns with business priorities.
- Manage and direct external vendors and agencies to ensure quality, speed, and consistency.
Who You Are
- 4–7 years of experience in digital performance marketing, with a focus on local search, CRO, content strategy, and demand generation.
- Passionate about search engine visibility, including zero-click strategies and optimizing for AI agents.
- Proven ability to create both written and visual content for digital channels.
- Highly analytical, with strong critical thinking skills — you know how to create measurable tests and turn data into decisions.
- Exceptional communicator, especially when presenting insights to executives or cross-functional teams.
- Flexible and curious — energized by new challenges and adaptable to evolving business needs.
- Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Familiar with tools such as GA4, Google Ads, CallRail, SEMrush, Looker, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, Jasper or similar platforms
- Bonus: Experience in multi-location healthcare or veterinary care, B2C professional services, or startup/scale-up environments
