Job Title: Communications Supervisor or Manager

Position Summary
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented communications supervisor or manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support a range of internal and external communications efforts, with a focus on event-related messaging and logistics.
This is a collaborative role for someone who is equal parts strategic thinker, skilled writer and logistics pro. You'll work closely with teams across the organization, including communications, talent acquisition, operations and senior leadership, to help inform, inspire and connect our audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Communications Management
- Manage our social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), developing and curating content that reflects our voice, values and veterinary expertise. Grow engagement and ensure consistency across hospitals and corporate channels.
- Identify storytelling opportunities and manage media outreach, including writing press releases, pitching to trade and local outlets and building relationships with key industry journalists.
- Own the strategy, content and delivery of internal newsletters and support with regular updates that keep our hospital teams informed, inspired and connected to the broader organization.
- Act as a connector across our hospital network to surface authentic stories that highlight our people, culture, medical excellence and impact. Interview team members and transform insights into engaging content for multiple audiences and platforms.
Event Coordination
- Coordinate logistics and communications for Veritas’ presence at veterinary industry conferences and tradeshows, including booth planning, branded materials and complementary offsite recruiting events. Occasional onsite support required.
- Organize university recruitment efforts by helping plan, promote and execute events at veterinary schools, ensuring consistent messaging and materials. Occasional onsite support required.
- Support the planning and execution of large-scale internal calls (e.g. Voices of Veritas call, leadership forums), including scheduling, tech setup, speaker prep, content coordination and supplemental communications.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team to align event content and goals with broader organizational strategy.
- Manage post-event wrap-ups including debriefs, feedback collection and impact reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in communications, events or related roles (healthcare or veterinary industry experience is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in journalism, English, communications, marketing or a similar discipline
- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills
- Experience managing events of varying scale, from internal town halls to attendance at industry conferences
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
- Passion for animal health, veterinary care or healthcare storytelling is a plus
- Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Base Pay
$70,000 - $90,000 USD
