Associate/Sr. Associate, People Operations

Overview
We are looking for an exceptional People Operations Associate to join our growing People team. This role will drive key initiatives for Verkada, including Performance Management, Pulse engagement survey program operations, and delivering people data and insights to the business. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, with a positive attitude, and exhibits patience, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. This role requires people who are passionate about doing dozens of things well every day to maximize our employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Support numerous People Partners within the People team and other key functions within the company (recruiting, compensation, finance, benefits, immigration, payroll, mobility, HRIS)
- Support the full employment lifecycle of our employees from onboarding through offboarding to make their experience seamless
- Reporting and analytics based on the organization's needs and driving insights for People Partners using existing dashboards and HRIS data
- Intake and address employee questions relating to areas such as onboarding, immigration, benefits, payroll, mobility, leave, etc.
- Create and support people programs related to employee experience, engagement, and recognition to help employees be productive and motivated
- Identify opportunities for improvement and assist with communication, implementation, and change management of various programs and initiatives
Requirements
- BA/BS degree. MBA or Master's degree is a plus
- Must be in-office at HQ in San Mateo, CA
- 2+ years of experience -- either in a people operations role or in roles demonstrating operational excellence and a customer service mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to effectively communicate with senior management in an efficient manner
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills
- Experience at a fast-paced, high-growth Tech company preferred
- Experience with Workday and Excel
- This role requires on-site work from our headquarters in San Mateo, CA

Annual Pay Range
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
Estimated Annual Pay Range
$90,000 - $130,000 USD
