Responsibilities

We are seeking an exceptional Automation Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will spearhead innovation by designing, developing, and implementing robust integrations and automation. These solutions will empower the Customer Success and Product teams to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency, helping them deliver business outcomes.  

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Create innovative solutions: Design, implement, and maintain Automation Solutions to drive productivity and efficiencies in Customer Success and Product teams.

  • Process Enhancement: Document best practices, enhance processes, and drive operational excellence.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in discovery sessions and solution design with stakeholders to align with business goals.

  • Technical Guidance: Offer technical support and share expertise with the Customer Success and Product team.

  • Customer Service: Deliver prompt, exceptional customer service to maintain high client satisfaction.

  • Growth: Dedicate time to self-directed learning and research to stay current with industry trends and enhance skills and knowledge.  

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Required

    • A background in information systems, computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering or technical consulting roles, with a focus on Workato or other integration platforms.

    • Experience building software, designing distributed systems.

    • Working experience with RESTful APIs.

    • Working experience with SQL in any RDBMS.

    • Experience with Gen AI such as ChatGPT and Vector databases.

    • Good understanding of agile methodology and experience in product management tools such as Jira would be helpful.

    • Familiarity with process orchestration, workflow tools, Business Process Management, Robotic Process Automation, or other automation products.

    • Ability to work in the US EST timezone.
  • Ideal

    • Experience in implementing integration projects involving complex enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and cloud business apps (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce).

    • Coding experience in Java/Python/Ruby, with knowledge of SOAP/XML, is considered a plus.

    • Understanding of security best practices for integration and data handling.

    • Experience in user experience (UX) design is a plus.
