Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Trainer Manager to design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs for our Educational Travel Specialists (ETS). The successful candidate will be instrumental in optimizing our sales process, ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding experience for new team members, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales department.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Review and Update Sales Process: Continuously analyze, evaluate, and refine the existing sales process to identify areas for improvement, enhance efficiency, and maximize conversion rates. Develop and implement best practices and standardized procedures across the sales team.
  • Onboarding New Educational Travel Specialists (ETS): Design, develop, and deliver a robust and engaging onboarding program for all new ETS hires. This includes product knowledge, sales methodologies, CRM system training, company culture integration, and initial field shadowing opportunities.
  • Create and Implement Continuous Training Programs: Develop and execute ongoing training initiatives to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of the entire sales team. This includes advanced sales techniques, product updates, objection handling, negotiation strategies, customer relationship management, and market trends.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, talk-tracks, and e-learning modules.
  • Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and group training sessions, both in-person and virtually.
  • Provide individualized coaching and feedback to ETS to support their professional development.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics and feedback, adjusting as needed.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to align training initiatives with overall sales goals and business objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, sales technologies, and training methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and high-performance sales culture.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Education, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in sales training or sales management role, preferably within travel, education, or any related industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and delivering effective sales training programs.
  • Strong understanding of various sales methodologies (e.g., BANCT, Challenger Sale, Solution Selling).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and coach individuals at all levels of experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics) and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for continuous learning and development.
  • Experience in the educational travel sector.
  • Certification in a recognized sales methodology or training program.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount WorldStrides is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

California Salary Range

$55,000 - $67,500 USD
