People Operations Specialist

We’re looking for an HR Operations Specialist to maintain the HR admin processes for the whole employee life cycle. The successful HR Ops Specialist meets the needs of employees and managers and govern the employee experience with the Company.
More about Your team
Local HR team consists of 2 people. In this role you will report to the Senior People Operations Manager.
How do we work?
The team follows a hybrid mode (3 days office work) and enjoys weekly meetings and regular 1:1s with the managers.
How You’ll make an impact
- Managing the issuance and maintenance of employment records, ensuring timely provision of necessary documents.
- Supporting the onboarding process for new employees.
- Handling employees' and managers' inquiries and requests related to HR operations.
- Managing immigration documents for international employees, coordination with external vendors for immigration services, ensuring timely and accurate processing of visa applications and work permits.
- Providing guidance and consulting to the recruiting team on immigration law matters.
- Design and recommend enhancements, improvements and simplifications of existing HR processes and procedures.
- Ensure legal compliance by managing and implementing applicable human resource state requirements
- Support employees and improve employee experience by providing end-to-end HR solutions to solve their issues.
- Assisting with internal, external and statutory audits as needed
You will achieve your best if you have
- 2-3 years of People Operations/Human Resources related experience.
- Experience with employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, performance cycles, leaves of absence and offboarding).
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus labor law
- Good knowledge of Cyprus immigration law
- Strong English (not less than upper-intermediate)
- Strong Greek (not less than upper-intermediate)
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and ethics
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
