About Wrike


Wrike is seeking a proactive IT Operations Manager to join our IT department at Wrike. You will play a crucial role in building and managing a team and collaborating with HR, Workplace, Engineering and Devops teams.

In this role you will be able to influence decisions, mentor, and upskill your team, enable Wrikers with a reliable and effective infrastructure and Cloud-based solutions. If you would like to lead a team of system and support engineers and provide them with technical guidance and mentorship but also help our colleagues support the optimization and automation of our everyday tasks, we'd love to speak with you!

More about you and your team

We have 8 people in the team, located in San Diego, Nicosia, Prague and Bangalore. The whole IT department consists of 19 engineers. We are responsible for end-user support as well as maintaining our SaaS and cloud infrastructure in a desired reliability and security targets.

How you will make an impact

  • Managing Helpdesk team which is responsible for internal user support.
  • Managing Mobile Device Management platforms, including Jamf for Macs and MEM for Windows devices, to ensure proper enrollment, compliance with security policies, and adherence to procedures.
  • Modernizing onboarding and offboarding processes, including automating provisioning and deprovisioning across internal systems.
  • Liaising with other teams leaders on strategy, projects, and day-to-day management of the IT Department
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Helping our teams to optimize and automate "every-day" tasks
  • Guiding the team to successfully meet their objectives

Key technology and tools include

  • Infrastructure: Proxmox hypervisors, Google Cloud and Cisco stack
  • IAC and CI/CD: Google Cloud Functions, Gitlab CI, AWX and Ansible
  • Identity management: Okta, Google Workspace and Geo-redistributed MS AD 
  • Productivity tools: Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom and Microsoft stack
  • Device management: Jamf, Intune and Google Workspace Endpoint Management
  • Observability: Zabbix, Graylog, Rapid7 and Pager Duty

You will achieve your best if you have

  • Proven track record in a managerial role within a related field
  • Knowledge of MDMs, Okta, Google Workspace and Microsoft stack
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating collaboration and a willingness to assist colleagues.
  • Hands on experience with server and network hardware and infrastructure

You will stand out with:

  • Understanding of information security principles and the ability to apply them
  • Sufficient scripting skills in Python/Bash/PowerShell or other scripting languages
  • Experience with working on enterprise-grade infrastructure and SaaS solutions
  • Enthusiasm and ownership of operations and project-related work
