Zynga is looking for a Contractor to join our global marketing team  for 4 months to drive User Acquisition creative strategy across our portfolio of live games: Words with Friends, Zynga Poker, Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, Game of Thrones: Legends & more! 

This temporary role will require a mix of creative and performance marketing experience. The ideal candidate has experience in the mobile game industry, a working knowledge of the levers that drive creative KPI improvement in user acquisition campaigns, and an understanding of the F2P mobile games business.

Responsibilities:

Per - Cadence (6 weeks)

  • Analyze UA creative performance and competitor creative trends to develop insights and identify opportunities that can be used to improve creative KPIs

  • Lead creative planning discussions and decision-making

  • Align with Product Marketing, ASO, and Product stakeholders to identify opportunities that benefit from UA creative support

  • Collaborate with art leads to develop concepts that explore creative opportunity spaces

  • Review and guide briefing with feedback specifically aimed at ensuring ads effectively execute against strategic objectives

  • Define KPI targets for creative initiatives

  • Ensure timely delivery of new creatives to UA 

Monthly

  • Provide updates to cross-functional stakeholders on UA creative strategy and production 

  • Package past work into digestible case studies that level up team-wide creative knowledge

  • Guide and feedback monthly competitor research projects produced by Art teams

Weekly

  • Attend meetings with UA, Art, Production, & Analysts to track production, UA performance, and creative needs/priorities

Ad-Hoc

  • Lead creative strategy & production initiatives from conception to completion outside the scope of normal creative production

  • Identify and implement process improvements across creative planning functions

  • Define creative reporting needs

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $40.00 and $50.00 per hour.  However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
