What will you do:
The Technical Artist Intern will be working with a team of Designers, UX, Concept Artists, Animators, Producers and Software Engineers to develop beautiful and optimal game content. The Technical Artist Intern acts as liaison between engineering and all disciplines, responsible for the planning, implementation, documentation and optimization of art setups to support our game’s animation and design needs. A key member who’s primary role is to support the team and the product and is expected to be proactive in their communication on a daily basis.

You are a contributor of ideas, overseer of pipelines, and collaborator across discipline lines providing expertise and seeking out potential issues before they become problems.
Responsibilities:
- The primary duties will be integrating art assets(prefabs 2d and 3d) ,animations ,VFX in the game, using the Unity game engine.
- Will be taking up the responsibility of rigging and skinning of 3D and 2d(sprite) assets.
- Should be able to handle the unity prefabs, art assets, animations, animation controllers, VFX (2D&3D).
- Ability in creating and managing game environment, lighting , optimizations.
- The Tech artist will be working with Art team(Concept,3D artists, animators) closely and then Developers ,UI/UX team, game designers to integrate all the game assets and bring them to action.
- Ability to receive and digest feedback in constructive manner and demonstrates work estimation and tracking of the time.
- Effective team collaborator, and who has good experience in game development.
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge in software like Maya, Unity, Photoshop, Texture packer, visual studio.
- Great working knowledge in VFX and optimizing the textures.
- Ability to script in languages for relevant applications
- Ability to understand and master version control software like perforce and git,
- Knowledge on Scripting ,Rigging, VFX is required .
- Ability to follow up/communicate with different departments like Design, UI/UX, Dev, QA team to assist and run the project smoothly.
- Clear understanding of cameras, lighting and shaders in Unity.
Recommended Skills :
- A passion for games and social networking.
- Experience with Git and version control software such as Perforce.
- Unity animations ,and NGUI samples are encouraged .
