The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and driven individual to join us as an Applied AI Engineer. You will report to the Director of Engineering. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity based in San Francisco, CA. In this role, you’ll architect and build the technology that powers Abby Care, playing a key role in transforming how home healthcare is delivered across the US. You will solve challenging technical problems that have immediate and tangible impacts on people, and do so in a collaborative and fun-loving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build AI-based solutions for home health and deploy to enterprise environments
- Work cross-functionally with the data science and product teams to productionize AI/ML solutions
- Opportunity to build the foundation of the Applied AI function at Abby Care and shape company roadmap
The Requirements:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional experience in applied AI/ML engineering
- Proven track record of working on AI/ML projects from concept to production
- Experience with deploying AI models in production environments
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Proficiency in Python
- Bachelor's/Master’s/PhD degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
- Experience with the modern AI toolchain for data processing, orchestration, fine-tuning, and deployment is preferred
- Experience with model evaluation and performance measurement is preferred

This is a Full-Time role with an estimated annual salary range of $170,000 - $220,000, plus equity, annual bonus and industry-leading benefits.
