What you'll do

Be a leading voice in team discussions and decisions. Focus on the whole team’s productivity and strive to increase the impact of the team’s work product.

  • Develop and propose software solutions following the best practices and patterns.
  • Be an expert on different development and test flows.
  • Engage and ensures the code quality through code review based on the defined code standards.
  • Understand the front and backend ecosystem and deployment process.
  • Monitors and improve platforms dashboards.
  • Assume technical responsibility for new features, lookout for opportunities for platform improvement, and work with software engineers to scale our production systems.
  • Lead the team in defining architecture, technical requirements and solutions and drive projects through to completion.
  • Benchmark technology and development practices that could be used in our product.
  • Contribute to the adoption of software architecture and new technologies.
  • Work with software architects, engineering managers and product owners to create and maintain test automation for our products.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team

 

What you'll need

  • Experience with software, systems, and infrastructure architecture
  • Experience with Java, Spring framework, and Python
  • Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with microservices architecture and patterns
  • Experience in micro-frontends pattern
  • Experience with event-driven architecture
  • Azure Dev Ops, Kubernetes, Docker, Test Automation
  • Experience with Scrum/Kanban
  • Lead technical discussions
  • Experience in leading the deployment of systems into production
  • Experience in a high-paced, high-growth environment working with deadlines and milestones
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Have a solid understanding of clean software design principles
  • Good active listening skills, the ability to empathize with customers, stakeholders
  • English - advanced level
  • Desirable:
    • Experience with e-commerce platform development and integration
    • Experience with event-driven architecture
    • Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ
    • Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps/VSTS) tools, and containerizing applications (Kubernetes), Cloud Hosting (Azure)
    • Have experience using monitoring and metrics to support KPIs and performance of APIs
