About this opportunity 

ABI Growth is seeking an experienced Category Management professional with a strong commercial mindset and proven experience leading category initiatives across retailers, customers, or markets.
This role will be responsible for leading the execution and deployment of global category management initiatives across markets and key accounts, ensuring consistent implementation of category growth strategies, accelerating adoption of global capabilities, and translating strategic priorities into measurable business impact.
The successful candidate will act as the link between global strategy and market execution, partnering with Category, Commercial, Marketing, and Key Account teams across multiple geographies to drive alignment, implementation, accountability, and operational excellence.
In this role, you will be working in ABI Growth's global headquarters in Brazil while collaborating closely with teams across North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead execution of Global Category management initiatives across key markets and customers.
  • Partner with market teams to translate global priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate the strategy and deployment of category management tools, frameworks, and capabilities across the organization.
  • Monitor project progress, identify implementation risks, and proactively drive corrective actions.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Commercial Strategy, and Key Account teams.
  • Consolidate market feedback and identify opportunities to improve execution effectiveness and scalability.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, business cases, project updates, and deployment plans for senior leadership.
  • Create strategic capability-building initiatives including trainings, workshops, best-practice sharing, and global community engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, drive simplification, and increase organizational effectiveness.

We are looking for people with: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong experience in Category Management, Trade Marketing, Key Account Management, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of category management principles, shopper-centric approach, and retailer execution.
  • Experience working with large retailers and commercial teams.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results through influence rather than authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English and Spanish required.
  • Experience working in global or matrix organizations preferred.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Self-starter with strong ownership, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative environment
