CFO Technology
Accordion’s CFO Technology Practice effectively and efficiently delivers digital services and solutions to support organizational strategic initiatives.
Our CFO Technology experts work cross-functionally — alongside practitioners from all corners of Accordion — to arm CFOs with the appropriate digital solutions needed to implement the team’s business process recommendations and to capitalize on value creation opportunities. From ERP, CPM, Analytics, Data Integration, RPA, and beyond, CFO Tech provides finance leaders with a single, objective partner capable of delivering from strategy to execution.
This role must be based in our Chicago office location and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week. Ideal candidates should be local to the desired location.

What You’ll Do:
As a Salesforce Project Manager, you’ll oversee the successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives, managing full project lifecycles—from planning through execution and deployment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with strategic goals. This role includes leading cross-functional teams, managing communication with stakeholders, and driving ongoing process improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading Salesforce projects from initiation to deployment using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Creating and managing project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Coordinating resources across developers, administrators, consultants, and vendors and conduct regular status updates, progress reports, and executive briefings to communicate project milestones and challenges
- Facilitating stakeholder meetings, requirement sessions, and user training
- Managing project risks, issues, and change control processes
- Leading Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Delivering regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and executive briefings
- Identifying opportunities for process optimization within Salesforce environments
You Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field
- A Professional Scrum Master I Certification (required)
- At least 1 year of Salesforce project management experience with a proven track record in Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Experience using project management tools like Jira, Monday.com, Trello, or Microsoft Project
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

The annual salary for this role ranges from: $142,500 to $171,000 USD + benefits + bonus. Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
