The Role
The Product Manager owns the strategy and execution for data display and visualizations across Addepar’s client engagement tools, specifically dashboards, PDF reports, and the client portal. The Product Manager will define detailed feature requirements and guide a cross-functional team to improve their efficiency and productivity. The Product Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of data display and visualization standards across the platform and prioritize new offerings and feature enhancements.
Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.
The current range for this role is $122,000 - $190,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You’ll Do
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of standard data visualizations employed by Family Offices, RIAs, and institutions for data representation in content used for financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the product, including user needs, business value drivers, technical architecture, data flows, vendor relationships, and integration points within the broader Addepar ecosystem.
- Proactively identify and engage with key users, stakeholders, competitors, and relevant market trends to gather critical insights and inform product strategy.
- Clearly define, document, and communicate the product goals and roadmap, with a specific focus on deliverables and milestones for the next 6-12 months.
- Collaborate effectively with the cross-functional team to build consensus on prioritizing and defining actionable work increments, considering factors such as level of effort, interdependencies, and strategic alignment.
Who You Are
- 4+ years of relevant work experience and education that demonstrate proficiency in product management
- Domain knowledge regarding finance / investments, particularly regarding the valuation of investments in different asset classes
- An eye for detail and demonstrated ability to follow through while juggling multiple streams of parallel work
- Practical knowledge of agile thinking and lean practices; creative (non-dogmatic) with project approaches, willingness to experiment, and ability to guide teams toward activities and processes that best suit project goals
- Ability to identify the appropriate tools and techniques to accomplish objectives
