THE ROLE

AG1 is seeking a passionate and experienced Sr. Manager, CRO to drive ecommerce strategy and conversion rate optimization tactics for the Acquisition team. This role will shape the overall site experience for AG1 prospects, ensuring every interaction maximizes conversion opportunities. Key responsibilities include analyzing web traffic and user behavior, conducting A/B and multivariate tests, and implementing changes to boost conversion rates across our digital properties and maximize marketing effectiveness for AG1. 

Reporting to the VP, Acquisition, this role will be a key member of the Acquisition Leadership team, collaborating very closely with Media Buyers, the Digital Innovation, Customer Insights and Analytics teams, as well as other key stakeholders. As a fully remote team and company, excellence in this role requires a dynamic and collaborative nature, and someone who embraces the challenge of building something where it doesn’t exist today. 

This opportunity will play a critical role in the future growth of AG1 as a leader in foundational nutrition. This role will be at the helm of expressing AG1 brand value proposition to potential customers with distinctive, compelling and performative storytelling on our website. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of website traffic and user behavior to identify opportunities for optimization across all stages of the web funnel .
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to improve key metrics such as conversion rate and revenue.
  • Support promotional strategy for acquisition, analyzing and planning what offers resonate best with customers to drive conversion.
  • Craft a clear, prioritized testing roadmap that focuses on optimizing various funnel experience for increased conversion.
  • Partner with Engineering team to build and refine back-end tests, ensuring robust and reliable testing methodologies.
  • Build landing pages to support the Acquisition team using our internal tool and and work alongside the Product Design team to create and refine new landing pages, ensuring they align with brand standards and effectively meet business objectives.
  • Oversee the optimization of the home page, sales landing pages, sales funnel, checkout bounce and start rates, monitoring these metrics daily and making data-driven adjustments, as needed.
  • Work closely with external media buyer partners to create a cohesive ad to landing page experiences, testing different benefits and persona angles to increase CVR.
  • Deep-dive into performance data, utilizing web analytics and other tools to monitor key metrics, gain insights into conversion drivers and provide comprehensive reports on test results and ongoing experiments, partnering with the Analytics team for deeper analysis, as needed.
  • Partner with the Customer Insights team to understand segmentation and personas, ensuring landing pages are designed with these insights in mind.
  • Use stakeholder engagement, qualitative and quantitative research and prioritization frameworks to build a rolling testing roadmap aligned to customer needs and business objectives.
  • Define and develop processes to ensure high quality stable experiences whilst balancing long-run priorities and short term opportunities.
  • Stay updated on new trends and best practices in CRO and UX design.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, User Experience, or a related field .
  • 5+ years experience with Conversion Rate Optimization tactics with Direct to Consumer brands.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, ensuring efficient workflow and successful project delivery.
  • Rounded product expertise with experience across design, data, user research, marketing/growth and engineering.
  • Strong cross functional operator, with the ability to work effectively with media buyers, creative strategists, designers and developers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with an analytical and data-driven thinker with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive ownership mentality, with a hands-in approach to take responsibility and rolls up sleeves to get things done.
  • Working knowledge of Shopify, including liquid, metafields, app integrations, and theme customization.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in marketing is a plus.
  • Experience with Heap Analytics is a plus.

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $110,000 - $135,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
