ABOUT E-LAB
The Entrepreneurial leaders’ Action Lab (E-LAB) is a space to explore and engage in complex issues while discovering one's entrepreneurial identity. The program is the engine of ALU’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and is supported by the Community programming streams. E-LAB is one-third of the integrated synchronous, in-person, non-credit bearing experience synthesizing Missions: Radical thinking, Introduction to Global Challenges and Opportunities, and Entrepreneurial Literacy around complex design challenges.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The program empowers individuals to design, test, and implement creative new ideas and works closely together to craft transformative learning experiences. We are deeply passionate about our students and excited by the challenge of building something entirely new.
This internship position reports to the ELAB Program Lead in the Office of Entrepreneurship at ALU. The role provides a unique opportunity for a student interested in entrepreneurship and innovation to gain hands-on experience in project management, social media management, communication, and design.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure completion of challenges and assess quality against rubrics, resolve conflict in a timely manner, and escalate when needed.
- Manage online cohort space (Google Chat) and social media accounts for the different teams in their respective cohort space.
- Uphold the E-Lab brand identity by creating content to be posted on E-LAB Instagram.
- Manage the E-Lab Instagram account and inbox.
- Design online and offline content (e.g., posters, events flyers, Instagram posts...etc.)
- Digital Marketing: Email marketing...etc.
- Organize, collect, and student surveys.
- Coordinate and collaborate with volunteers for E-LAB events
- Manage logistics on the ground, ensuring that classes are booked
- Manage budget for E-Lab
- Collaborate with other departments (SVP, Operations, Student Life, and Tech teams) to manage logistics on the ground, ensuring classes are booked, zoom accounts created...etc.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all young persons and vulnerable adults with whom we deal, by adhering to ALU’s comprehensive safeguarding policy, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to any violations of safeguarding standards.
