Senior Software Engineer (UX development)

Role Summary
The Front-End Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing user-facing web applications with a focus on performance, usability, and responsive design. This role requires deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, component-driven architecture, and seamless integration with backend services. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with a user-centric mindset to deliver intuitive, elegant, and scalable digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Translate UI/UX wireframes and design prototypes into high-quality, reusable code.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ensure smooth integration and cohesive end-to-end functionality.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Build reusable components, libraries, and front-end architecture to improve developer efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI bugs, rendering issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure accessibility and compliance with WCAG standards.
- Write clean, maintainable code supported by documentation and unit/integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to best practices across the engineering team.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, front-end tooling, and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major front-end framework (React preferred; Angular or Vue acceptable).
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with implementing / setting up with various analytics tools for on-prem and cloud usecases.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.
- Knowledge of responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser support.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Vuex, etc.).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time within USA or internationally.
- Able to walk / work in factory environment.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with SSR/SSG frameworks such as Next.js or Nuxt.js.
- Knowledge of UI design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Experience with performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Sentry).
- Familiarity with GraphQL and related frameworks such as Apollo.
- Background in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
- Contributions to open-source projects or strong portfolio of previous work.
Please note: This role requires working on-site 5 days a week. We do not offer hybrid or remote options.
