About You

AppDirect is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Inside Product Sales Specialist to Microsoft Azure sales from $50 to $5,000 per month through our Advisor Channel. This role focuses on quote management, deal qualification, and sales enablement for partners, while providing outstanding customer service and growing AppDirect's cloud services footprint.

As a Microsoft Sales Specialist, you’ll be responsible for providing pre-sales technical support and guidance to the sales organization/advisors/clients in support of the AppDirect Cloud Technologies. This position will maintain industry standard certifications and provide basic level technical assistance, including qualifying opportunities, training advisors on these services and other technical renderings. This position will also be responsible to generate sales campaigns around the services to help our Advisors increase their revenues.

What you'll do and wow you'll make an impact

  • Support the other Microsoft Product Sales Specialist with Microsoft Azure Opportunities
  • Exceed a monthly quota by activating and enabling Advisor Channel to sell Microsoft Azure Cloud Services effectively.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline, with proactive follow-up and forecasting.
  • Cross-sell other AppDirect services to new customers while still having a primary focus on Microsoft
  • Design and provide quotes for smaller, less complex opportunities, ensuring swift and effective solutions for clients.
  • Maintain a high standard of timely and accurate communication internally and externally, embodying exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Deal Desk team to ensure precise data submission for pricing and order fulfillment.
  • Contribute to sales campaigns, partner webinars, blog posts, conferences and other enablement activities to drive partner engagement and growth.
  • Deliver operational rigor on all opportunities to achieve collective success among teammates.

Who we're looking for

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, with 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and professional background.
  • Experience in selling Microsoft Services for over two years.
  • A foundational understanding of cloud and data center technologies.
  • Strong professionalism, solid phone, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to communicate and sell effectively across diverse audiences, including sales, marketing, vendors, clients, and consultants.
