About You

AppDirect is seeking a proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented IT Procurement Analyst to join the growing IT organization. We are looking for a team player who will collaborate with the rest of the IT organization but also with other functions such as Finance, Legal and InfoSec, and with the various business units. You enjoy collecting, organizing and sharing data to help the team succeed.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

  • Maintain an inventory of all IT contracts across the organization, along with relevant details (annual value, renewal dates, key contacts, etc.);
  • Prepare a schedule for renewal of all key contracts;
  • Alongside the IT and business leaders, help negotiate new suppliers as well as renewals;
  • Ensure AppDirect and the suppliers meet their contractual obligations;
  • Participate in the annual IT budget process, and lead the quarterly reconciliation to ensure IT leaders’ budgets are on track;
  • Contribute to the improvement of IT finance and procurement processes and tools, such as maintaining and/or upgrading contract management systems, and financial reconciliation systems.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance or a related field;
  • Minimum of 2 years in an IT administrative role - finance, procurement or a related field;
  • Advanced analytical skills - break-down large sets of data into meaningful insights, build easy-to-read dashboards and report;
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly evolving, data driven environment;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required to interface with all levels of the organization;
  • Passionate about driving continuous improvement in yourself and within your function;
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Spreadsheet skills, with the ability to work with large sets of data;
  • Some experience with financial planning and reconciliation tools an asset (NetSuite, Anaplan, TropicApp, etc.).
