The Opportunity: 

Armis is seeking a passionate and innovative Director of Social Media to lead and elevate our global social media presence. This role is pivotal in ensuring Armis stands out as a leader in the SaaS and cybersecurity space. The Director of Social Media will be responsible for managing and mentoring a dynamic team, driving cutting-edge strategies, and creating buzz-worthy content that amplifies our brand and engages our global audience.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the voice of a rapidly growing, market-leading organization while staying at the forefront of social media trends and strategies. This role would suit someone who has worked in-house or in an agency. We are flexible for highly talented individuals with a track record of success. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Manage the social media team in the Marketing Centre of Excellence (MCoE) in Romania in addition to the Senior Marketing Manager - Social Media in the USA.
    • Act as a "player-coach," holding the team accountable while mentoring and guiding them to success.
    • Foster a high-performance culture that thrives on creativity, innovation, and excellence.
  • Strategy and Execution:

    • Develop and execute a cutting-edge social media strategy that ensures Armis stands out in a competitive landscape.
    • Stay ahead of the latest trends, tools, platforms, and best practices to continuously evolve our approach.
    • Champion social selling and empower sales teams to expand their influence and networks through social platforms.
  • Content Creation and Management:

    • Oversee the production of high-quality, engaging content, including video and photography.
    • Collaborate with videographers, photographers, and other creatives to ensure exceptional staging and execution.
    • Ensure content is polished, impactful, and aligned with the Armis brand.
  • Brand Presence and Engagement:

    • Break through the noise with campaigns that create buzz and generate genuine engagement.
    • Differentiate Armis as a modern SaaS leader through innovative social media tactics.
    • Appear front-of-camera as needed, representing the brand with confidence and authenticity.
  • Analytics and Optimization:

    • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to measure success and inform future strategies.
    • Use insights to optimize campaigns, improve ROI, and maintain alignment with business objectives.

What We Expect:

  • Experience:

    • 10+ years in social media and digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving impactful strategies.
    • Background in a social media agency or a similar role in a SaaS, B2B technology, or cybersecurity organization.
  • Skills and Expertise:

    • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and analytics tools.
    • Exceptional content creation skills with an eye for design, staging, and storytelling.
    • Experience managing videographers, photographers, and other creatives.
    • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Personal Attributes:

    • Passionate about social media and its power to shape brand perception and drive results.
    • Innovative, with a strong understanding of how to break through the noise in a crowded market.
    • Collaborative and approachable, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
    • Comfortable being in front of the camera and championing social media internally and externally.

Salary range guidance for this position is: £100,000.00 - £160,000.00
