About the role

As an Engineering (Associate) Manager at Duitku, you will play a crucial role in delivering our mission to create a seamless payment experience. You will manage teams to deliver exceptional products while fostering a positive team culture, focusing on diversity and team excellence. Your responsibilities will include building careers and supporting the professional growth of engineers, improving hiring and onboarding processes, and setting and communicating direction for your teams.

The responsibilities cover:

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams to deliver high-quality products, ensuring team alignment with company goals.
  • Proactively improve hiring, onboarding, and team processes to enhance efficiency and team performance.
  • Work closely with a diverse set of stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate progress.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to teams, ensuring best practices in software development and engineering methodologies.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience working with diverse stakeholders.
  • 8-10+ years of experience & decent experience in leading software engineering teams, with exposure to organizational, personal, and technical challenges.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and other related best practices.
  • Proven experience in hiring, recruiting, and onboarding engineering talent.
  • Practical experience as a Scrum Master or Software Engineer working with scrum methodology.
  • Experience in scaling up engineering teams and improving team processes.
  • Familiarity with software development, specifically with the.NET framework.
  • Basic understanding of code security practices and principles
  • Ability to conduct code reviews and provide technical design guidance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the fintech or payment gateway industry.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian payment systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive and diverse team environment.
