Account Executive - SME

About the Role:

As our Account Executive, you will drive Aspire’s growth through direct business, by building relationships with prospective clients and helping them find success through our solutions. Working closely with the SDRs and HoS, you will build and own your pipeline and close deals. You will take ownership of the new business and revenue across direct selling. You will focus on SME with the aim of achieving quick - and consistent - results.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 6+ years of work experience selling payments, cards and FX to SMBs, ideally with experience in fintech.
  • Familiarity in e-Commerce, marketplaces, and talent platforms
  • Experience with HubSpot (preferred) or other CRM systems
  • Ability to build relationships with strategic clients and industry stakeholders
  • A growth mindset coupled with both confidence and humility
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies, e.g. SPIN, MEDDIC, Challenger
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity
  • Self-driven to deliver, with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Possesses analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in payment, banking, financial, consulting companies
  • Proven record of success
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English

  3. You’re articulate - We’re looking for an effective communicator. Someone who listens, structures their message, and delivers it in an impeccable manner.
  4. You’re methodical & organized - A BDR would have multiple sequences running in parallel, s/he would take part in various mini-projects/battles, while keeping an eye on key deals. If you have problems with prioritization, you could easily feel overwhelmed.
  5. You have high work ethics - You’re in sales. You have targets. Grit is a must.
